I watch a lot of these videos. Toby is excellent at cuddling and companionship but not heroics.
The second video is important.

I used to show my Corgi videos of Corgis doing agility courses, she was not motivated.

I spent the day at my parents yesterday and my parents corgis are soooooo fat! I really want to dognap them for a couple weeks and let them hangout with Ozzy. He loves to go for walks and we walk him about 2 miles a day at a minimum. I’d guess normally its closer to 3 or 4. Back on Presidents day we did over 7! I think that would help get them back in shape.
Hmm, I wonder if I could train him for agility...?

There’s a super dog movie at the giant IMAX screen downtown that I’m trying to catch soon. Documentary about rescue dogs, narrated by Chris Evans, looks fantastic.

My corgi was in decent shape she loved walks she could about a mile before going corgi dead weight and wanted to be carried home. A mile for a corgi is a lot of steps. I miss that furry couch hog.

A mile is a lot of steps for those little stumper legs. Ozzy is built like a 1.5x corgi, so he does have longer legs. He’s also part catahoula and apparently they just love to run outside. Decidedly un-corgi.
Corgi personalities are funny. My parents first 2 corgis were fawn sibblings, Fitch and Fiona. Fitch was lithe and athletic, rambunctious and a little trouble maker, and he had a very foxy face. Fiona was plump and lazy, a real princess and would have been happy as an only dog, and she had a shorter snout and big doe eyes. The corgis they have now are tri-color but have similar personalities in the opposite bodies. Emma is the foxy looking one but she’s also the princess, while Pippa is a mouth rascal but she’s also the chubby, doe eyed one.

You know, Ravna sure looks a lot like a Belgian Malinois. And I can barely wear her out each day in between work other life necessities, and trying to recover from mono.
I wonder if I can give her a job of some sort. Currently I believe she thinks her job is squirrel search & elimination .
