A certain other Wichitoppo finally got some new tires for his bike, so we went and broke them in.
We rode around town for a couple hours and, realizing both bikes needed a bath, went and hosed them off.
The top picture was after said bath. Note that the blue stuff for protecting the whitewalls during shipping got scrubbed off.

He used to have a s1000RR so he’s already looking into performance mods for the Yamaha, I have to look at it every day while I have a cb550 Torn apart in my storage room

It really is. My only complaint is how touchy the throttle-by-wire is in first gear, but I’ve gotten used to it.
