I dream of a future where my bank account gets a $1,000 credit every morning and I loose weight when I eat at McDonald’s, which are just as likely to occur.

$1,000 a day? Psh.
I dream of a future where for every $1 out of my bank account I spend, I get $20 magically deposited
in return.

This automated air taxi from Boeing is about the closest thing we have now. Still seems impractical to have those slice and dice rotors on the corners. I think what will become more likely is something like the AW609 bringing execs directly to their meeting from longer distances than can be achieved by helicopters.

Well at least cash back credit cards are a step in the right direction.

We still can’t get it right in 2 dimensions, why are people so eager to go to 3?

All that’s missing the Waylon Jennings voice-over.

I just can’t see electric aircraft, especially VTOL, working without a massive improvement in storage, like Mr. Fusion-massive. We can barely make gas-turbine powered VTOL work, and that has way more energy density .

my thoughts exactly. The basic premise is that ride sharing and electrification saves carbon. oh and flying cars are a thing that might exist!

You know if flying cars existed they’d probably require special licensing...
and different regulations
and need special training
and have designated landing spots
and there would be no fly zones and areas where you need permission to fly
and there’d probably be a federal agency to oversee all of this
TLDR: Planes/helicopters are flying cars
