I love anything you can abuse the hell out of and it doesn’t break. I’ve dented the top one multiple times and it will still keep ice cubes as ice cubes for almost 48 hours.

The second one I just bought.

Also, green is the best color and hammertone paint is the best paint.

I have a 64oz growler version that is amazing. I always use it as a backup water reservoir on roadtrips. Cold for days!

I’ve been really tempted to buy that one.

64 ounce, $20 Walmart special, has taken SO much abuse... it’ll keep it cold for about 36 hours, but I usually drink two or three a day so it’s probably overkill. And yeah, hammertone rules, I painted my 89 K5 with Rustoleum Hammerite, looked AMAZING...

Photos, please.

I’m so tempted to just paint every car I own with hammertone paint. Scratching up hammertone just makes it look better.

Let me try to dig up some pics.  Did the lower third of my 92 Toyota P/U with that stuff too...

My grandpa had one from the 1950s or 60s. One of those things you wish  you inherited but just disappeared

I have that first bottle too and I love it. It’s pretty banged up and I’ve broken the strap that holds the lid on but it works!

Kinda like cast iron cookware. I still want my grandma’s chicken pan. Chicken pan? Yep, chicken pan.

I have one of the ones at the top and the damn thing leaks everywhere! Every since it was new the top just does not like to seal at all.

I’ve had my 32oz Nalgene since I was like 13 or 14. It rolled off a cliff on Bear Mountain and I found it a few hours later on the hike back down. The new BPA free ones aren’t as indestructible. It doesn’t keep water cold but I drink water super fast anyway. I have a couple Hydroflasks but they’re like Yeti coolers... they work but they’re not as crazy as everyone says they are.

My dad recently bought a bike that shade of green, the manufacturer calls the color "grandpa's thermos"

I have four piece of cast iron cookware I got from my aunt a 4” skillet, an 8” skillet, a 10” skillet, and a 10” griddle.

They were originally given to my great grandmother as a wedding gift. They’re somewhere between 110 and 120  years old at this point. I use them regularly and can definitely tell how much better quality they are than my newer lodge skillets.

I ha ve memories of grandma frying chicken in that pan. We have a similar pan, but it isn’t as deep. I used it to fry chicken and it was fantastic. Not as good as grandma’s, but fantastic nonetheless.

I can't look at one of those without thinking of The Accountant.

+1 for metal drinking vessels. I have a 40oz kleen kanteen at the office that I’ve had for probably 8 years. Great bottle, but it rings like a church bell if you drop it.
