If, and I mean BIG IF, Mr. regular is right, and this can be had in good shape for 6,000$ INCLUDING SHIPPING, I would very much buy. My thought is that 6 large can’t possibly include transport. I would even fly out to cali and drive it home for that.

I flew out to Oregon to drive my Autozam back home to NY. It’s a great drive if you have good weather and good functioning vehiculers.

I feel like that car would bake me in the sun. So much glass and so little air circulation. It's like a convertible without the part that actually makes a convertible good.

I like the glass. Honestly, the only reason I like the car. to be fair, I like convertibles too. The glass bubble roof was always my idea of a futuristic car...

I think $6k might be a bit challenging. Duncan has three of them, but all are right at $10k.

Did he say it has a thicker head gasket AND a higher compression than the Tercel, but is the same engine? I mean it could, but it’s gonna take more than a thicker gasket to get there.
He articulated too.

It definitely looks futuristic, but after driving my Miata for a few years I learned that:
1. I love the open air feeling of driving with the top down.
2. I hate the sun.
So the Sera is definitely not for me.

That’s what I’ve been looking at. I’m not sure I could justify spending that. although, some of the other stuff they are selling in the 10k bracket
looks extremely appealing. I had no idea some of this stuff was so cheap.

Like most videos, this one isn't exactly correct. 6k is definitely a stretch. It's either flat out wrong or missing key information, like you guessed

Too late to edit.

It’s weird - some things seem oddly inexpensive, others crazy overpriced. I really wanted to get a R33 Skyline sedan that Japanese Classics had awhile back before I got my Lexus, but was vetoed by the wifey given the car’s age and lack of a LATCH system for the kiddo’s seat.

Nah, I’d still take the AZ-1. The Sera looks like a relative to the MX-3 and that greenhouse would murder you on a hot day.
Besides, of course the Sera is better, it doesn’t have to fit the constraints of a kei car.

The toyota centuries and mitsubishi delcia vans have me all hot and bothered.
