No 22s, but there were aircraft and vehicles.

There definitely were F-22s in hangars that were damaged:
Last I heard, 17 couldn’t be flown out, though I don’t recall if the AF ever elaborated on what damage those planes suffered.

Indeed there were, but it doesn’t look like they were in the big hangar. They’ve mostly been absorbed into other F-22 squadrons now. The base is still very much in recovery with a lot of work being done, but there’s still a vast amount of work left to do. I was pleasantly surprised to find the BX and commissary up and running, and I enjoyed a chicken philly from Charley’s at the BX food court for lunch yesterday.

Presumably the first pic I posted is the big hangar? There’s an F-22 at top left in that shot.
Yeah, I had read that the F-22s were being reassigned and Tyndall will be getting F-35s instead.

Well I’ll be a monkey’s uncle... There is one hiding up there.
That’s the rumor I’ve heard. It makes sense to stand up a fresh F-35 squadron. The engine shop is toast, the fuel cell hangar is toast, the supply w arehouse is toast and totally empty... Any F-22 or F-16 support is just plain gone so wether they reestablish what was here or set it up for a new airframe it'll be the same amount of work.
