Took the C5 to work today, and realized on my way out of the driveway that I was squarely at 44,000 miles. This puts it at about 2,300 miles per year since it was born, although that number has risen since I bought it (I put about 3,000 miles on it in the first year, Jan. ‘18-Jan. ‘19).
And just for good measure, here’s a recent picture to prove it doesn’t just live in the garage.

drive it every day and rack up those miles.

I imagine I would then be racking up the speeding tickets.
I’ll just keep flogging a daily beater for the time being. Keeps me in check, and makes me appreciate the Vette even more to know I’m usually driving something with about 1/3rd the horsepower.

that’s what cruise control is for

Haha, if Chevy wanted me to use cruise control, they wouldn’t have made a car that causes me to smile so much when I push the accelerator.
(And honestly, I forget the car has cruise control most of the time. I’m so used to driving cars without it apart from my work vehicle ).
