Roush makes something I don’t hate. Supercharged, the perfect ride height, the best looking grille Ford offered on this bodystyle, side pipes. YES.

The only thing I don’t like about this truck is that square of fake grille on the headlight. What is the point of that?

And hey, it’s only a $14,000 up-c harge!

To make the headlights look cooler.
Get it? Look cooler?
I'll see myself out.

YES! And my favourite part is how that bed is probably much easier to use now. The bed heights of new trucks boggles my mind. The guy who bought my GSX project brought a new RAM with him. Took four guys and a hill to get it into that bed.

It’s for looks, which is what 99% of all grill details are for almost all vehicles on the road.

I have short legs, and most beds are right at waist height, which is exactly where you want it to be. Bending down is bad for your back.

Just depends on what you’re hauling. Something loose, like mulch? Lower bed, easier to load and unload. Something like boxes? Higher bed, easier to grab stuff from ground level. Something really heavy, like appliances? Lower bed so you don’t accidentally drop something heavy from three feet in the air...
And then there’s the best solution:
Rampside, so you can just wheelbarrow everything out.

This is why it’s my strong opinion all 2WD trucks on street tires should be lowered to roughly the height of a car.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

Nah, just have a hydraulic dump bed as well as some locking storage underneath. Best of both worlds.

I understand that like most modern grill details it's just for looks, I just think that plopping a big old plastic square in the middle of the headlight looks really bad. I saw two of these trucks while out driving today and it would have looked better without them.
