mopar people are fucked in the head. I’m sorry, there is no other way to describe this.

is that... an engine in the trunk?

383?
Your can stroke a 360 to 383 but I don’t think the factory ever made one.
Mostly old parts and rust
Mopar

Yep. Engineering prototype for a rear-engine B-body.

Yep. This is true artificial reef material here.

383 big block was a factory mopar engine. That charger is crackpipe though.

Hmm so it was. I always considered that a stroker. I done learned something.
7000 and all that's usable is the vin.

My best offer? Scrap metal value. Sadly that thing weighs so much it’s probably like half what he’s asking for.

All the sudden, Long_Voyager’s love for the unloved mopars make sense - he can get his fix in for pennies on the cocaine dusted dollar that other people spend for barracudas and chargers

Just for the halibut I emailed the dude and offered $1000. Can’t wait to see what he comes back with.

Nice Price at $700 because it does get you some glass, a title and a VIN.
It can make sense for someone who is willing to pay to build a new 1968 Dodge Charger using a new body shell and other new stuff and transfer the VIN to that.
Asking $7000 for that heap tells me the seller is on Crack.

Or one of those “Honey it’s for sale in the paper” deals, when dude’s been talking about restoring it for ten years.

Some of the glass and the tail lights might be useful as well.

I actually observed a restoration of one of these. $7000? HAHAHAHA. $700? AHAHAHAHAHHAHAA
No engine. No transmission. Frame is a total loss. Body can’t be saved. No interior. And I’ll bet anything it’s a 383-2 (which is about as desirable as the slant 6.)
A concours grade restoration with numbers matching is worth, eh, maybe $40k for a 2bbl. Maybe. But hey, it’ll only cost you $70k+ to do that restoration.

You just gave me an idea for a great ( awful ) car-themed reality show..
