To eat as soon as you get out of work and hands are dirty.

Hey you are one of those people who eats it like a monkey rather than a normal human!
To be fair, it’s entirely possible that monkeys have the right idea.

Bonus: you can speed home after work and then throw the peel out of a window if a cop tries to pull you over.

If it was an orange your hands would be cleaner when done.

The bottom is much softer and easier to split.

Wait, aren’t we all supposed to stop eating fruit now because of sugar or something?

I’m willing to believe it’s better but:
How many times have you tried to peel open a banana from the stem only to be left with a bruised and bent fruit? Sometime you can’t even get the darn thing open!
I feel like this is about zero times ? Maybe with a really, really, under or over ripe banana?
Peeling bananas from the end opposite the stem also makes it easy to discard that black seed-like mass at the end of the berry.
It’s unclear to me how having it right there when you open it is in any way better than having it at the end (where you can normally just break it off and discard with the peel)

I have a coworker like that; we always tease him about it.

I think fruit is still ok? Fruit juice seems to be less acceptable, even if it’s not the standard pumped full of high-fructose corn syrup stuff that lines grocery aisles.

I just can’t keep track anymore. I ordered avocado toast at an after work thing, and got like two of my coworkers giving me crap because avocados have fat.

Avacados are fatty , but it’s good fat. They also have tons of vitamins, and I think are high in fiber as well. The only downside is that because of that fat, they are a high calorie food.

I don’t even care about this stuff anymore. I typically eat maybe 1500 calories or so on the average day, so if I’m going out to a restaurant, I’m having what I want to have and that’s it and I don’t need a coworker that’s at least 50lbs heavier than me critiquing my dietary choices.

Na turally occuring sugars are fine. You want to avoid stuff that has had sugars added.
Says the fat guy.
