Stealing Lancia pictures off of Craigslist. I am tired.

Kinja'd!!!

No price. Too rich for me. It looks really nice though, even with the missing turn signal lenses.

This seller is really bad at taking pictures, but the car looks nice and fairly priced.

I prefer the Fulvia coupe, but that grey one is super nice. I’d love to have a Fulvia coupe, and an Alfa GTV to accompany the 1502. I could realistically see the Fulvia, but I’d probably have to sell the other two to get my hands on the Alfa

I just realized I really like 60's Italian designed 3 box sedans, the Fulvia, Giulia, and Bellett.

They are great! I’m eyeing a red Giulia in the Netherlands for a potential import and flip. I’m seriously considering doing this as a real/side business. I’ve gone looking for financial backing, and have had some interest but everyone wants to see a business plan (understandable). Right now I’m like “gimme a couple hundred grand and let me expense all of my travel while I bounce around Europe, buy a bunch of cars, bring them back and sell them. You’ll probably get your money back and maybe a little on top?”

One of my favorite things about these Fulvia and Flavia/2000 sedans is how square and uninteresting they look at first glance, or from a distance. But then, as you approach them, the intricacies and character of their details make them fascinating to behold.

Only Lancia could take so simple a form and make it so deeply exquisite. These pictures are of an early ‘70s version. Check out how distinctly shaped the headlight surrounds are, and how their basic notched shape was repeated in the bold taillight lenses.

And even though the overall shape is quite boxy in general appearance, when studied closely, it becomes clear that the car doesn’t actually have a straight line on it. They’re all gentle compound curves that transform these designs out of the realm of boxy and firmly into the realm of elegant.
