I actually saw this yesterday. How topical/convenient!
This guy is a true oppo, driving a fiero kit car to lowes on a cold day. The only good part of my day yesterday.

In a lot of ways, I honestly think I'd rather have the Fiero than the Ferrari. Kit or not.

I think i’d be happy with a clean fiero gt by itself, honestly.

Ferrari looks with GM maintenance costs? Best of both worlds. I’d daily it with zero shame.

I like it. Can’t tell what the badges on the passenger side rear are but the owner seems to have stayed away from Ferrari emblems which is a plus.
I guess the fake hood vents are covers for the headlights. Clever, really.

That could be a Mera.

You might be right. The front rubber bumper looks different but other than that it seems prettt similar

If you’re gunna do a 308 kit car at least use the Euro bumpers!

I thought so too at first but I don’t think it is. Meras don’t have that extra fake vent on the hood. It could have been modified I guess.
There are so many 308 kits out there it might be hard to find out which one it is exactly but I think it might be this “GTS” kit

Same here. I was looking on CL not long ago and it seems they’ve either begun to appreciate or people just know what they have. An example that might have pulled in 3 grand on a good day in the 90's now has asking prices upwards of 10 grand. I like em, but not that much. Plus that ls swap is gonna cost a few bucks in and of itself.
Sigh, I really need a 2+2 at a minimum now though anyway . #dadlife

Generally I like 2+2s better. I have a hard time justifying a two seater if/when
better options exist.

I keep finding myself shopping for Fieros and Corvettes, wishing they had a +2 variant. Leave it to me to want something that might as well not exist.

The whole going around corners part might leave me wanting a bit though.
Then again, I always have wanted a T/A with T-Tops.

TBH it drives like an ‘02 honda, which, considering it’s age is a compliment. I’ll report more when I can actually drive it again
