Not the fact that a snow squall blew through here at about 7:00am, or the fact that it’s 27F with 15-25mph winds from the Northwest (read: COLD).
Nope. I might have needed 4wd to get it out of its storage garage, but here it is, alive and well.
There was also a lot of moisture in the garage where it was stored, and the distributor cap was practically dripping wet. A quick wipe down helped a lot, but I’ll probably replace that anyway since it’s a bit crusty looking.

Nice...that’s a ton of snow still though.
I think the only remaining bits of snow here are where there were large piles in shaded areas.
I’m planning on getting the Corvette out soon and adjusting the timing soon as well...my sign of spring being here.

We do have a lot of snow, at least in some areas (we’re at about 1000' elevation. I wanted to drive up on that snowbank for a picture, but with it being so cold out, I would have had to sit in it to warm up the engine for about 5 minutes before it would have actually gone up the bank.

My experience with snow banks is that, even icy layered ones, trucks tend to go through them and not on top of them. I got my F150 stuck on a similar sized bank on our driveway trying to get around to our back yard. Made me realize how much open diffs suck.

Cold here this morning, but looking like spring is going to be quite entrenched by next week:
I’m regretting not skiing on the 23rd, looking increasing likely that another good opportunity will not present itself.

At least in this case, I’d have two wheels on hard icy dirt!

Yeah, last weekend (23rd) was soooo good up here. Even a little farther north (Burke, VT) got 31" - Cannon, where we went, got 19" - and I believe that, because I got stuck in it. We skied both days, it was even sunny on Sunday and still lots of little bits of fresh snow on the sides of trails. This past weekend... right back to “spring conditions” which can be fun, but isn’t the same. We went to a little hill and our kids did about 100 laps on the rope tow.
