Thanks. No problem this morning, but we did get rear-ended yesterday. Lady had a medical marijuana card and was stupid enough to drive after smoking. Kids got to see her walked off in handcuffs. Wife and kids seem okay, thankfully, but my neck is sore . Going to try to get in to see the chiropractor today...

This one was pretty easy to find, thanks to the Lord Calvert Theater (now a church, but the internet remembers it, even 65 years after it closed: http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/10192 )
Had that not been immediately successful, I probably also could have found it from the distinctive old factory building in the distance, which is prominently visible from I-95, and I remember passing many times (it was vacant then, but appears to have been converted to office space):

Nope I worked the last two days, I’m hanging out in Universal S tudios and drinking today! It’s still Mardi Gras at the park.

Interesting thinking about 600-16 being a common bias-ply size.
They have some more information on the site today at Shorpy, including info on the Montgomery Ward in the distance.

Car nearest the camera is a 40 DeSoto, I will leave the others in case someone else wants to play. Love the clarity of these old images.

Slight correction, after reading a bit more, the big building was a warehouse, not a factory, one of several Montgomery Ward (which while headquarted in Chicago, ran its East Coast operations out of Baltimore) set up around the country to support its mail order operations. I’d imagine Amazon’s distribution centers are not quite so imposing.
