You can smell how they’ve tried to find a phrase that expresses both sportiness and safety.
Revolting. Over-styled. Confusing. Pointless.
Given that it seems to be applied to most vehicles as a mid-life facelift, presumably since the company has neither sales nor cash to actually replace models, I expect it won’t be remembered well.

Ps. It seems like every time I make a post like this I meet someone in the comments who disagrees completely. To that person: hi!

I disagree completely. You’re welcome.

Didn’t think it could happen but I finally found a truck that makes the new Silverado look good!

Mitsubishi needs to go away.

I feel bad for Mitsubishi. A huge company with a very long industrial history that just gave up. I mean, even
Chrysler held on by their fingernails. The only time I even hear about (or see) a new Mitsu is when I scroll to the bottom of a comparison test to see who could possibly have done worse than XYZ car
.

Thank you for the reminder that Mitsubishi still sells one or more cars.

It is protected by a dynamic shield projected from the nearby bodywork of fendor.

If you photoshopped a Chevy badge on it and said it was the new Colorado, I’d believe you.

Funny thing about Mitsubishi is while they may make outdated, mediocre vehicles, every owner I’ve spoke with seems genuinely happy with their purchase. Not too many issues or annoyances. So they got that going for them.

I think Mitsubishi is going to go the way Suzuki did in the U.S. and Chrysler, etc... did in Europe.
There’s five cars in the range, some uninteresting.
ASX
Eclipse Cross
Mirage
L200
Outlander

Same

That appears to be Stef’s opinion

I see some Outlanders and a few of the more recent facelift Outlander Sports. Sitting in the Outlander at the car show I felt like it was a good value that one could be satisfied
with purchasing. The Outlander Sport was too dated. The Eclipse was the newest inside, but too
vomit inducing.

Yeah, the impression I get is that they’re all fine cars, it’s just that they’re not as focused on improvements as the competition. I bet if you compared them to stuff from 10 years ago, they’re great. Competition is funny like that.

So basically what you are saying is:

Seriously paint 2 more parts and truck 1000% less base. C’mon bruh.

I would have thought that a few years ago, but Mitsubishi Motors North America has been seriously turning things around, whereas Suzuki just couldn’t catch a break in their later years here.
Sales were up 13.9% in 2018, 7.7% in 2017, 1% in 2016, 22.8% in 2015, and 24.8% in 2014, and t hey were up 2.7% in January. They may have an uninspired lineup, but customers seem to be responding.

Ye’, what’s happening to Mitsubishi here is what happened to Suzuki there.
Suzuki seem to be doing okay here, focusing on the small car and small to medium SUV segment.

The difference between your Suzuki and our Mitsubishi is that I see at least two models in that list that I wouldn’t mind driving.

Other than the Ignis which I don’t see at all. I see the others occasionally while I see Swifts all the time.
Of the Mitsubishis, It’s mostly L200s and the occasional Mirage and Outlander.

FWIW I think they’re still ok in Japan, they’ve just suffered in the rest of the world. Maybe they’ll pick it up.
