I haven’t been on oppo as much in the past couple of days or weeks or whatever amount of time. You know, been busy doing things in my life. Anyways, looks like I missed something and it looks like everyone is sharing their first post. I thought theme days were a thing of the past, apparently not. So what did I miss today? Well, apart from being told by my boss that I was “exceeding expectations ” in several areas during my yearly performance review.
Also, if you were here in before mid-2012, it appears your first post is lost to the sands of time. Otherwise you’d be able to see this little gem among my posts:

Well, these aren’t supposed to be a thing. Arch Duke has been going around like a school house nun with a ruler trying to impose order. But like a pack of unruly catholic school kids, it’s not really working. So thank you for your unwitting contribution to anarchy.
I’m not at all surprised you exceed expectations. But don’t try to tell me your review didn’t say anything about no more facial hair.

Only Gawker and Gizmodo ever gave me stars. Which is kind of weird, because I’m out of the grays on EVERYTHING now, including Spiltner and The Root, and that’s a lot harder to manage .

Actually, scratch that, I’m in the greys on Gizmodo, but they’ve sucked almost for as long as stars have been gone.

The post might have been a little tongue-in-cheek. I don’t really mind theme days, but they can be excessive at times.
Surprisingly, didn’t bring it up. Or the fact that I struggle to hold back and snide comments or sarcastic remarks during meetings.

Yeah, discovered today that our first posts, from the before-times, are gone. No more proof that I asked Spinelli what happened to Davey G, when suddenly he was gone without warning. Man, I loved his Fast as a Shark series.
