On the plus side the tube and adapter caught the header bung in such a way that I was able to smother it in Xtreme temp JB weld to make a new bung. If this doesn’t work... Excuse for 7.3 with aftermarket headers?
The original problem in question:
Chrome boyo doesn't want to thread into the header bung, nor will the old one go back in.

I suspect RTV would make a poor substitute for hemoglobin, too... so don’t mainline any of that stuff!
Not sure what i’m looking at - what fluid goes through the chrome fitting into the headers?

Exhaust back pressure sensor is mounted to the high pressure oil pump access hole on a bracket. Flimsy bracket that bends and messes up the gasket apparently.
