a re life savers. I really should start buying parts from them. I mean I did turn off ad blocker on their site that’s something right?

They even had step by step on how to change the cam position sensor for the Stringbean.

At this point turning off adblocker for a site is basically like buying stock in them

Yeah, 1A’s got some pretty decent how-to vids. Here’s one I pulled up recently to do struts on a neighbor’s Taurus. If not for the video showing the best angle of attack, I probably would have had to drop the subframe.

I helped a friend with the struts on his Chrysler Concorde and must have dropped a nut or something. They had a really high steering rack and somehow that nut managed to help shear something off requiring a new rack.  Guess who is really good about counting all nuts and has 2 good magnetic pickup tools.

I usually point folks to 1A Auto because their videos are No Bullshit. They don’t play the whole “and here’s this one neat trick the manufacturer HATES” lie game, make you wait around for stupid crap that can be skipped over (like actually removing the bolts ,) or mislead you into thinking a job is going to be easier than it actually is.

“Here’s the tool you need. Here’s where things need to be. Do this. Be careful here. Now do this. And no, reassembly is not just ‘do it in reverse.’ Here’s putting it back together. ”

Hello yeah they are. Very good vids. I’ve fixed a few things on both my Focus and Explorer with their help.

I love 1A’s videos! They’re absurdly helpful. I’ve decided to start buying from them if they’ve got a part in stock instead of RockAuto stuff all because of their videos.
