Panel fitment is weird, even by malaise GM standards, and it’s clearly a non-runner (unless it’s now air-cooled...), but I love the color.

Yeah, it is definitely a project.
And that is one brave teal!

Not bad - unfortunately it’s not a couple years older. 68-72 was the sweetspot in that vintage, to me.

Agreed. For Coke-bottle Vettes, steel-bumpered is the only way to go. With that said, m y dad had a....I think ‘75 several years back. Granted it had been rode hard and put away wet, but that thing rode like a Radio Flyer. Any bump would shake your teeth out. I much preferred the C5 he had several years later.

That strikes me as pretty overpriced for a non-running C3. All the go fast bits suggests that pursuing the numbers matching original car thing isn’t happening. That money will get you a running, driving C3.
The paint looks good, but there are some serious problem with panel fit. That feels like the kind of thing someone dropped the money on a decent paint job, but didn’t invest in actually doing the fiberglass restoration part of the job. I would expect to find globs of fiberglass patch jobs and stacks of fender washers improvised to hold panels on under that pretty paint. Although to be fair, improvised stacks of fender washers and shims holding panels on was kind of how those cars came from the factory (this continued onto the C4) . Precision engineering they are not.

No, it’s not. But it’s still pretty.
