Does anyone here ride a Goldwing?

I got some really nice exhausts for one and I have no use for them. The brand is Dr Jekill and Mr Hyde, and they’re electronically adjustable. They’re missing the switch and mounting hardware, and they have a good bit of dents and scratches from improper storage. Buuuut, they retail for nearly $3,000 a set. If anyone on Oppo could use them, I’ll consider either selling them outright for a price we’ll negotiate,   or, preferably, trading for a running project car. I know this is an expensive offer, but I figured I’d put it out there before I try to get $1500 on Facebook Marketplace.

I ride a Goldwing...but I’m afraid mine’s far too old for an electrically adjustable exhaust. lol

My dad does, he gladly put them on. Then my mom complain it’s too loud & have him remove them.

You can make anything fit on anything if you try hard enough. if the slip on doesn’t fit, have a flange welded, your goldwing has a battery so you can  just wire up the switch, electricity is universal

Oh of course! Though after a second thought, it would be quite the project to retrofit those..

I think I’m one of maybe just a couple Oppos with a Wing, mine probably being the oldest.

And it would solve my issue with wanting a quiet exhaust when coming home and a loud one out on the roads. Oooh that’s tempting.

Sounds like you need an electric exhaust cutout. My dad has one in his S2000

Yours looks like a GL1100, what year ?   I think I got you beat by a couple years with my 79 GL1000. Love the old Goldwings!
