Came out of the Mclendons parking lot and see the guy fleeing the scene after backing into my truck, fucking up the body and damaging the brand new vinyl wrap. Not smart, considering I made note of the company graphics on HIS truck when I parked next to him. Will update later.

Every time I have to park next to someone else I am tempted to take a photo of the plate, make and model. I’m not minding the mini cardio from parking out in nowheresville, but my wife is starting to get antsy when I park so far away.
I just want these people to park better so everyone can rest easy. I can sleep at night and not worry during errands, they don’t have to dodge the law on a crime . It’s win win.

I do this when I get a feeling that shit like that will happen. So far I've never had to use it.

360° camera with a backup battery would also work

Yeah whenever it’s a tight fit I take a picture of the cars just to know who did it. I’m also always aware that in the time I was away the person could have left, some else could have come hit my car and also left. So not much use so I do it anyway. And then I’m always relieved when the same car is still there.

brilliance is hitting and running while driving your vinyl-wrapped company work vehicle.

Believe it or not, this is the second time a company-wrapped work rig has hit this truck in the 3 months we've had it. People be dumb

Yup, hook that battery up to the correct circuit and it'll charge when the engine is on.

People that try not to take responsibility for their actions are assholes. Plenty of those around.

You want her to live as long as possible and
concerned for her cardiovascular health! (maybe she’s gullible that way?
)

S he knew what she was getting into. I’m buying her a new Civic at some point, so she can’t protest too much.

Yep. I guess I can at least understand that, but for someone to do that in a full parking lot, while driving a vehicle with prominent company logos? Seems crazy to me

Jeez, that’s not good. Hopefully they cooperate, or get slammed by insurance. Maybe both.

Many years ago, I was the passenger in our companies
work truck with very prominent lettering. Got back to the office and the owner asked the driver and I if we noticed anything on the way home. We said, nope. Apparently the driver clipped someone getting on the highway. It was an E-25o on 495 a mile or so after exiting the Lincoln Tunnel. I guess the roads are so bad that we didn’t even feel it.

Many years ago I walked out to the parking lot and found deep scratches on my bumper, see in front of the side marker/reflector here:
I was really pissed off that someone at my ( small) company would hit my car and not even tell me. That is until I noticed silver paint on the building’s stone foundation, apparently I had brushed the wall backing out and hadn’t even noticed. Then I just felt dumb (and started backing in in the morning so I wouldn’t need to back out along the building when the lot was full). Maybe should have touched it up, but I suspect it still wouldn’t have looked great without a lot of prep.

O ur McLendons lot is bad... I pick the farthest away spot, or even just park in the gravel across the street. Lots of partially blind older gentlemen with large pickups parking in “compact” spots... But still love the store.

Looks like something I did to my car when I parked next to a column with a drainpipe, backed out without seeing the large steel hoop a foot above the ground and scraped up the same spot.
