Seems like a pretty decent car, although I think I’d rather be a passenger in this sort of car rather than the driver. I’ve only been a passenger in the previous K9 (which my uncle has in Seoul) but it was comfortable and nice. Too bad depreciation is a bitch, and the first gen ones are nearly impossible to find used since nobody bought them. There is currently one 2015 K9 V8 for $30k in the whole province with a bit over 100,000 km on it. There are four for sale in Canada (counting the one in Ontario) and the rest are out west.
I think these K9s along with the Genesis will be decent used deals if you can find them. Not sure what reliability is on these kinds of cars but with a 5-year warranty you could pick one up cheap and still have some warranty left.

I’ve been very happy with my 2015. See here for her introduction.
It’s fun to drive in its own way. The smooth, quiet power is fabulous on road trips. It makes you feel like king of the road in a very different way from a performance car, kinda like you’re above everything.
I checked out the new K900 at the dealer Monday. It’s really nice too. I need to drive it for comparison. I say that, but I never get around to all the test drives I talk about. :(

Wait, what? I listened just a minute into the video, and Doug is saying it’s offered with a V8. As far as I had heard, only the TTV6 is offered, at least in the US.
Edit: I clicked over to the Youtube comments (not a common sentence from my fingers) and saw that he copped to the error).

The reason you can’t find K900's used is because they didn’t sell new. And because of how awful Kia dealers are.
There’s some shop in Florida selling a pile of them allegedly ‘off lease’ for $21k ask. (And of course, StealTime ”C arvana” has a pile of thrashed repos they want more for, if you want to get scammed.)

According to Driving.ca , fewer than 100 K900s have been sold Canada-wide since the introduction of the model, but it appears that we’ll still get this new generation.
There are pretty great deals around on fancy Kias and Hyundais, although the Azera was dropped in 2010, while it continued on until 2017 in the U.S., with a new gen in 2012. The similar Cadenza is still sold here though.

But if you get a K900 instead of a G90, you can’t get it deliverd to you in a glass box.
Apparently the Canada sales model is currently Canada-exclusive, and in major markets, at that.

That’s unnecessary and kind of amusing.
