My Galaxy Gear S2 is getting a bit long in the tooth, and is requiring ever more frequent resets just to get through the day. Since my income tax rebate has come in, I’ve decided it’s time for an upgrade. Trouble is, I’m overloaded with choices. I’m trying to narrow it down, and I’m asking you all for help. Ideally I’d like a watch similar to what I’ve got: Bluetooth only, customizable face, notification & posting for SMS, Twitter, and email, pedometer, and hopefully a stronger vibe feature than this Gear. Android only, no Apple products.
So Oppo, does anyone have a smartwatch to recommend?

Everything I’ve read seems to say that the Apple Watch is the only one worth buying. I don’t have one, but everyone in my family who does seems to love them, and my brother says it’s light years better than his Gear Fit2.

I used to hate on smart watches, but I love my apple watch. It works perfectly, keeps me from dicking around on my phone for no reason. Best of all it’s got me working out every day instead of a few days a week because I feel like a lazy fat fuck if I don’t close the circles, haha.

Depends on your phone. iPhone, Apple series 4 no doubt. Android Garmin Fenix 5. I can honestly say I thought the Apple watch was a fad product, but for how much I run and work out, it has been a nice addition to my daily rotation.

I have an LG Urbane and I’ve been eyeballing the Fossils.
Been eyeballing this one myself:
I’m a big Android guy, I have to see what LG has going now, i like my watch because it looks like a real analog watch until I start doing something on it. I’ve had many people actually get surprised when they see it’s a smart watch.

Anything made by Samsung runs on their own OS called Tizen, and thus does not have access to the Google Play store/apps.
I have a Huawei Watch gen 1 and I like it quite a lot. It worked flawlessly with my OnePlus 5. Now that I have switched to an iPhone, Wear OS is hot garbage and does not work as smoothly as it does on an Android phone -this was not unexpected. I use my watch to count my steps and see the time; and I leave it in airplane mode to save battery since it will only connect to my iPhone with the Wear OS app open.

My Moto 360 has basically been done for for 2 weeks. Randomly shuts off usually 3/4 through the day or even less even if the battery is charged.
I ordered a Gear S3 Frontier .

I have a S3 frontier and it even works with my iPhone
I keep mine with the sound off and vibration on minimum, that I find is not minimum enough
