And now I wish I hadn’t been. I can’t actually afford this!
This !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is almost perfect.
Colour combo ? YES YES YES !!
7 seats? YES!
Features? So many ! It’s a LUX, so it has a lot of goodies.
Mileage ? O k, maybe a bit high. But it’s an island truck that has seen a lot of highway miles, I guess.
Price? Not bad
Older LR4s are dipping into sub-Toyota prices for equivalent year/mileage. This makes them VERY tempting as a replacement for my 4Runner and the wife’s Passat. This kind of shopping will get me into trouble.

Make sure the timing chain guides have been replaced, they’re plastic and the fix is to replace them with metal ones (go figure). Fucking bean counters ruin everything.

These and an RRS fromt the same era are high on the list for when I need an actual dad car.

Right! Damnit... maybe I should stick to looking for a late-model LR3 instead.

I own one, can confirm they’re fun as hell but you gotta do your own work. Timing guides are an issue as the metal works away as the tensioner hits it.
Cool color, but overpriced by about $2-3 k for the age and miles. 12+ has a better head unit. The beige interior looks awesome in pictures, cheap in person.

With the 4.4l? Yeah, I wouldn’t.

Why not? They're not amazing modern engines, but they're still pretty good.

I had an LR3 and loved it despite its frequent repairs. I find myself looking at used LR4s as a result. I just wish it was easier to find one with the HD package.
