Obviously you just don’t have that exquisite taste required to appreciate only the finest KIAs curated in this private inventory.

I know right? And I suspect those “Deals” are too good to be true anyway.

About a decade ago, I was shopping for a used Subaru, and the local dealer was a Subaru/Kia dealer, and the Kia sales tactics were definitely bleeding through.

On the lot, looking at an Impreza, no price on the car. Joe Salesguy comes out, I ask him how much, he says I have to come inside and sit at his desk to get a price. He couldn’t find out and tell me, I would have to physically sit at his desk.

I left without uttering a word.

You know how much time Kia dealers waste on tire kickers and joyriders checking out their white Optimas.  They have to screen their clientele to weed out those not worthy.

I haven’t dealt with them, but I’m realizing I haven’t heard a good thing about any of the dealerships in this town.

*edit because I realized they’re on the other side of town from all the other dealerships.

Try to stop by if you have time to kill and see if they ask you for your email/phone number to see/touch the cars in real life as well.

See that is actual news. That call for price or details have been going on forever. How is Tom just now seeing that?

Yours is quite shady. Because you know people will blindly enter info for no reason. And with that t hey now have your email and number.

And dealers will just blast you with calls and emails looking for a sale. I don’t know how but one got a hold of my number and was sending me texts and photos of a new S onic...

I have actually dealt with this dealer. I ordered crank position sensors for my 348, er, I mean 1999 optima. It was a pain in the ass because they refused to ship them to me without a vin (they of course charged my card immediately). I finally called them, waited on hold a bit, and made them ship me my damn parts without a vin. Basically, if I’m asking for x part number, and you are selling that exact part number, SHIP ME MY DAMN PARTS

End of the day, I got my parts and fixed my car for several hundred dollars cheaper than if I would have bought sensors with a horse on them. I kind of blocked out the experience and hoped I didn’t need to order any more kia parts for a long time haha

what if... and I’m totally hypothetical scenario here, no t IRL at all... what if you put the phone number and email address of the Hyundai dealer down the block into the Kia website? And then it would only be fair to do the OPPOsite to the Hyundai “call for price” advert...
