Today’s the fourth.

A good time then to think about the old days when postal deliveries here were made (at least if you were living outside a town) with the aid of the eponymous Renault.

Sadly no actual images of a real one that I could find because pre internet and a tendency to disso lve so here’s a model.

845 cc of four cylinder goodness, sliding door windows, gear lever sticking out the dash, handbrake hidden under said dash - what more could you want in a little delivery van?

The instrumentation was minimalist in it s execution.

Even better, dog leg gear pattern.

Better again, an opening bit at the back s o you can carry a ladder or two.
