Sorry for the crappy cell phone shots. I was running to a meeting. But I had to do a double take on this thing. I thought it was just a Carrera with the aero kit at first (because the idea of a GT2 being in my office parking was the last thought in my mind). But nope. This appears to be the real deal. I really need to find out who owns this thing.

The 996 is the best looking 911 ever made
Interior kinda sucks, but the 996 GT3 is the best of the narrow bodies. Then there’s the 996 C4S - the ultimate in styling.

How many 996 GT2s were made? That looks fantastic

GT2 is best 911.

From what I’ve read, only about 1,100. And yeah, it looks killer.

I don’t know about the BEST looking ever made, but it’s certainly not the worst. I’m more of a 997 fan myself.
And yeah. Their interiors are a bit more driver focused and not luxury focused (which I prefer). The GT3 is ok, but I think the C4S is definitely a better looker in the 996 realm. A C4S, in Speed Yellow, with roof racks an d some BBS’ ..... oh yeah. THIS:

T he base 996 is a little weird (the low, “happy face” intake kinda bugs me) , but completely agree, the c4s is fantastic.
Pretty darn amazing to find a gt2 in the wild.

Agreed. That was a really weird time period for Porsche and wheels . But wheels are something that can be easily changed, so that wouldn’t stop me from buying one (if I ever had that kind of cash).
