I went into one in Venice just to check it out. It had MARBLE FLOORS.

You must have been to the Burger Kings in my area.

There was one particularly tragic one close by, but they just remodeled it.  Before they remodeled it, it looked like 1988 frozen in time and not in a good way.

The one in the next town over from this one remodeled recently. It has a high-end f ishtank and some pretty nice stonework now.

The one closest to us is pretty nice after the remodel.  My biggest complaint is that this one didn’t get Coke Freestyle for some reason. I know a lot of people hate the Freestyle machines, but that’s the only place I can get Mello Yello Zero in Colorado.

Funny thing. They remodeled one of the Burger Kings near me a few years ago.

Now it looks like 1988 frozen in time, but with two of those fancy Coke machines that I could make Cherry-Vanilla Coke with. If they ever worked. (They don’t.)

They work at most of the BK’s I’ve been to, but Popeye’s... oh God. It’s always a hot mess at Popeye’s. Oh look, they’re out of everything except Barq’s and Seagrams Ginger Ale! Again. I’m just kidding, they’re out of Ginger Ale too. Grape-flavored Barq’s, anyone?
