i got annoyed at me squeeky door in the living room ratting me out and letting people know im still up and ambling about
so.... i used mr fixit.. the wonderfull most bestest invention ever made by man that isnt duct tape

If it moves, and it shouldn’t, use duct tape. If it doesn’t move, and it should, use WD 40.

WD40 is an OK temporary fix for squeaky door hinges but it doesn’t really last. I use a silicone oil lubricant at the top of the hinge pins and it typically lasts for a few months before the squeaking comes back. 3-in-1 is the brand here in the US that I keep around - not sure if you can get it where you are but something similar is likely available. I still always have duct tape, zip-ties and WD40 around, but most of time they are just patches rather than solutions.
