I decided to finally swap the Thermostat for the van, it’s been under heating at about 165°F and throwing CEL codes. It was actually pretty easy.
Made myself a catch box/ pan.
Two 10mm bolts To remove the housing, remove the housing from the hose, reverse. Refill, coolant. Also cabin filter swapped, was dirty.
I didn’t even lose my 10mm sockets.

The first time I worked on a car with a plastic thermostat housing it really threw me off. They’re all like that now though
