Man, I don’t miss snow, but i sure miss 4-wheel ice skating. I remem ber watching a garbage truck trying to get up a short steep driveway from my HS classroom window. He must have made at least 20 attempts before the combination of speed, momentum and grip all went in his favor and he made it over. Good times!

My trusty Tesla Model S AWD had no issues getting around so long as you went 5MPH.

Methinks that had less to do with driving a Tesla, and more to do with the surfac e of that particular lane being visibly less glossy than the rest of the road...

As many of you know by now, Oppo user Murphie passed away early this month. A remarkable private burial service was held short ly after - a VW van served as hearse - and there will be a memorial service in January:

Because it’s excellent? Currently I have a 30" (16:10) display in landscape mode in the middle, flanked by two 24"displays (also 16:10) in portrait. Usually use the portrait displays for web browsing and messaging , while using the center display for coding, productivity, and gaming.

I guess that makes sense, since documents and web pages are oriented that way. A s long as you have a landscape monitor, that should work.
