Its an unfathomably warm 60° out here. After building a new Lego set with my oldest, I ventured out to the garage to install my new scooter parts.
I put on a set of handguards. These would have been on originally, but we re missing from mine. I’m hoping they’ll help keep my hands warmer and dryer during suboptimal riding conditions.
I also swapped my homemade highway bar that I made from a piece of EMT, for a fabbed up one that uses bicycle pegs. It’s definitely beefier.
Unfortunately my third addition, a handle bar clock, is broken. So, that one will have to go back.
After lunch, I have a few errands to run. I’m taking the scooter for a proper ride! Born to be mild!

What battery are you using for the corvette? I have same one in the basement and would like to get it drivable for the kids in the spring. Never ending projects....

I forget what the actual size group is. The correct size battery for the 2011 Kymco Super 8 150 I used to have, fits perfectly. I cut the original connector on the car off, and used ring terminals to connect the battery, and I charge it with a battery tender.
