G ood choice, we had 2 of that shape 3 at the same time for about 5 years. My partners was an 06 Sport petrol (UK spec so the 2.0) in Phantom blue (the weird green\blue pearl colour) and I had an 07 2.0td Sport in Carbon grey (plus mine had the optional electric sunroof!). Both great cars, good looking, fun to drive, very well equipped for the day(xenons , Bose, climate control, cruise etc etc) , reliable etc. We kept them both longer than any other cars we’ve had, both were around 18 months old when we bought them.

I had a remap on the 2.0td one and it was properly quick and VERY economical.

Nice buy! I want to get one of these. My wife loved her '06 3 and misses it badly. I think if I get us one of these with a stick, I can get her into rallycross/autocross with me.

I like it a lot and to find a top of the line model with a stick shift and decent miles I am shocked I found one. Couple of fiddly things that need to be taken care of (rear tent needs to go and the front left headlight is foggy) but no issues other than that.

They’re great cars. We only got rid of the one we had once we had a second kid. Otherwise, it would probably still be in our garage.
