Welp I’m home

Shopping is a nightmare over here this time of year

And why does nobody sell dvds anymore?

Anyhoo I’ve wandered around town for about 3 hours now and not really found anything good for Xmas

Figured I'd find some inspiration at the bottom of a pint

Let me give you inspiration... give people the gift of fancy alcohol and/or fancy coffee.

If they don’t have small kids and you know they drink booze from time to time, get them some interesting/unusual booze.

If they do have small kids, get them fancy coffee with a fancy biscotti or something to have with the coffee.

Lol I’m mostly shopping for a couple tweens the adults and little ones are easy enough

Nothing like Christmas to make you realize you have no idea what kids are into nowadays

Also gotta find something for the missus...she's impossible to buy for

If they have iPhones, Apple store gift card

If they have an Android, google play store gift card

Or get them gift cards to the local movie theatre or fancy cafe.

For the wife, tickets to a live show you buy online. All you need to do is print the tickets and put them in a card and write in the card how oh so special she is to you.

Except that Amazon is evil and should not be supported. Give them a gift card that supports a more local shop before getting an Amazon card.

Eh, outside of being massive Amazon isn’t doing anything that’s worse than the stuff other large retail companies are doing. Certainly nothing that would make them full on evil.
