Sure, I knew it existed, but just like 45's tax returns, I never expected to see it IRL. Yesterday I was walking through my work parking lot and had to do a double- take. The unassuming grey hatchback had a red stripe and “MARVEL” across the hood... Upon closer inspection, there’s Ironman badges all over this thing!
I’m at a los s for words. Sure, it’s a cute car and the red accents are striking, but would i be willing to commit to being seen in it daily for the next 12 years? Does Old T ony have that kind of star power? I don’t think I could, but clearly someone can and did! I’m glad they were willing to stand up and show their Marvel pride because otherwise I would totally have missed out on ever seeing a Kona Ironman special.
What’s your take on extreme theme vehicles? Hell yeah or oh no? It’s not a permanent as a tattoo but it’s a hell of a lot more difficult to hide in public.
(full disclosure, these are stock internet photos because my phone photos from yesterday are crap but I have SR20 if you insist...)

I like that these exist, though I’m not sure I’d actually buy one. I can imagine these becoming the Levi’s E dition AMC Gremlins of the future. I think that the primary reason why it’s weird is just that I can’t imagine Tony Stark driving around in one of these. Th ey probably should’ve chosen a more upscale car, although maybe if it was more upscale then people would be less willing to buy it because they want a status symbol? I dunno. Regardless, it’s an interesting automotive oddity and therefore I like it.

Of all the cars I think Tony Stark would drive...this would have to be waaaaay down the list. I mean, it would make a modicum of sense to team up with an automaker that the character actually drove or owned in any of the movies. Off the top of my head, there’s Audi, Acura, Ford, Cadillac, Rolls Royce, Tesla, Saleen, Shelby, Bugatti...

My neighbor across the street, her parents got one. I don’t care about it. I haven’t seen any of the marvel movies. It also has the door light that projects Ironman signal thing onto the ground.
