Yeah, that’s kind of a BS reply and pretty unfair to the FP staff. It’s something they would catch before publishing in a perfect world, but mistakes happen, and not only at Jalopnik.

I gotta say... y ou deserved that one.

My first reply was BS? No more BS than Kristen’s response, which is what led to my snarky follow up.

If she had said ‘good catch, we’ll fix it’ I’d agree with you.....but IMO she inferred the mistake was OK.

Nah, it was the second reply. I can’t tell whether CRUZ54 is responding to the first or second comment by the screencap, though. I f he’s replying to the first one, that makes him the bunghole (or is proof that it’s really Ted Cruz with a Kinja username? makes u think) . Corrections are by no means out of line, and are actually pretty helpful.

I mean, I’M SORRY (which definitely doesn’t infer that the mistake is okay) and then the later fix seemed adequate to me.
