Lots of
folk
have a hard time around the holidays, yours truly included. This is a reminder to reach out to any loved ones that you think are going through a rough patch, and that it’s okay to talk about it if you yourself are feeling down

Thanks for posting this. The holidays can especially hard because some people get a message that they should be happy and they’re made to feel even worse for not feeling happy.
It’s pretty common for people who are feeling down to feel like they are alone, that no one could understand, and they can’t get any better. The good news is that none of those things is true. If you are feeling like you want to hurt yourself it’s a great idea to call one of those numbers. You can even go to an emergency room or call 911. There are people who can help you.

Does food count as substance abuse? If so, I’ll need an intervention.
I hope everyone here can bravely traverse the troubles that can flare up this time of year.

Hoping you find joy this season, or if not joy at least some quiet garage time.
