Then I get Internet points. Not a bad way to start the morning.
Also, this is, by far, the most miles I've ever put on a car. Almost seven years and still going.

I bought my 328i in March of 2017 with just over 40k on the clock, it’s almost at 85k now.

Your low tire pressure light is on. Pretty sure you lose internet points for that 'round here

I’m guessing winter + overpriced TPMS sensors

That’s cute. In a little over 4 years I’ve driven my work Tahoe 108,000 miles, not venturing more that about 50 miles from home . That’s a ton of local driving and about 40,000 more miles in almost half the time . In 3.5 years I’ve added 36,000 miles to my current personal pickup (which I bought 3.5 years ago) and have driven it to 7 other states (I live in Texas, not any of the tiny New England states) . 144 ,000 miles combined divides to about 36,000 miles per year over 4 years. Not counting driving my wife’s vehicle, my previous pickup and riding my motorcycle. Zero collisions and moving violations.
Most miles I’ve done in a day is 1,019 on a motorcycle in 19 hours. Most in a car is about 900 in 14 hours. Worthless - to me - internet points, woo hoo!
I imagine truckers and others that drive for a living have packed on a lot more than I have. Lots of people drive lots of miles. Of course office jobs don’t require driving all day.

My DD turned 7 years old last month and will roll 200K mi before the end of the year. I’m usually one to keep a car for 10-15 years and 300-350 K miles, though.

I remember those 86 cold starts. (My old neighbors probably do too).
Think the most miles I’ve ever put on a car were on my first Miata. Bought it with 18k on the clock and ended up trading it when it had 120k. Put those 102k miles on over four years.

A 20 mile commute, a 425 mile ride to see my kids, and usually a few hundred miles a month for work does that to a car. I did buy it to drive it, though.

As far as little yellow lights go, I'll take that one over the one I used to stare at in my Audi.

Where I live, we barely get this “winter” you speak of. The sensor is broken and I haven’t bothered to fix it yet.

Mine’s not super loud (anymore). Besides, if I want to wake the neighbors, I have a exhaust-less LS3 I can fire up.
Never got to 100k on any car I've owned; I bet it was fun in the Miata.

Keeping the miles off the M3, eh?

In the first two years I owned the FR-S I only amassed about 13k miles because I basically had no commute. Now that I sometimes have to drive for work, the miles have been piling on.

One reason, also for peace of mind; it’s safely tucked away in the garage while the 3 is out in the elements where ever I am.

I had a 98 Ford Ranger Super cab that i owned for 10 years and put 120,000 miles on, even with the infamous ford transmission issues.
