My grandmother mailed me a tree and Christmas stuff. It’s the most Charlie Brown thing that I could get and I don’t think she’ll ever know how much I appreciate it.

And I’ll survive. Just doing a lot of overtime and a lot of work ahead of me. But at least I’m being recognized for it.

Me too man. Lost my job in June and last month my brother passed away. BUT I gotta new better job and family is closer than ever. It gets better. Just keep the shiny side up and know that Oppo is here.

Being 3000 kilometres from home and having nothing but work can make it hard. Coworkers are good, but I have no non-work friends. Oppo and the occasional thing from family really help.

That was some rough times but we pulled out of it. Good thing is the new job is downtown so I’m now shopping for a fun commuter.

That reminds me... we’ve got to decorate the pine tree in the driveway. Only problem is that it is a 100 and something fahrenwhatzits outside, the air is full of smoke and a dust storm is forecast.

I work, on average, 14 hours of overtime a week. Last week I had an eighteen hour day. I can’t do a dog right now. I’m considering a cat.
