Everything else (shockingly) looks brand new. But uhh, that upper shock bushing... Sorta tu rned to dust.

Driver side. What it *should* look like-ish.

These things are fairly universal right? And if the rest of the suspension is intact I should be able to swap it without taking everything apart? Maybe jack up that side?

Maybe in the past some one replaced the shock, but not the associated bushings.

I just did my shocks last week and boy was I happy I’d ordered all the bushings. The tops weren’t bad, but the lower mounts, in the A arm was shot on both sides.

Ive had it since 07 did the new shocks/springs in 2009... Err, well that might explain it. They definitely got replaced when I did them but curious how one grenades itself and the other looks pretty good.

Lowering springs are more fun.

And about a week or so.

I am currently familiar with this situation. In your case, you may need to jack it up if you want to replace ALL the top bushes. But if it’s only top of top then no jack required.

Don’t forget to also replace the nyloc nut with a new one...not doing it is why my ‘new’ top bushes  are now dead.

Early 90's accord?

Apparently my motor mounts were doing the same sort of thing. Probably a third of the top mount was just gone, and the front mount wasn’t doing great either.

What brands are available for a Sebring?

It might be because comparing that diagram to my car I'm missing some of those parts. The lower isolators G aren't normal - usually just spring on shock, metal on metal. Top isolator is on the spring perch. But looks like too many bump stops.

If it’s anything like my car it’s basically the same as doing struts and you might as well do them while you’re in there. Perfect time to slap on some lowering springs as well

B&G S2's . Direct from factory order.

Eibach *had* a set but I dont think they’ve been made in over a decade.

I wouldn’t be surprised that I have the last ever 14.1.011 B&Gs ever made.

I have a trunk full of new lowering springs, shocks, struts, mounts ready to go in. I just need to rent a spring compressor and face my fears. But if I was able to single handedly rebuild the 250s full front suspension with jacks and stands - the Sebring should be nothing.

I found the spring compressors to not feel anywhere as sketchy as they should have. I knew how much force I was playing with but there wasn’t a lot of drama involved so it gave me a  false sense of security. You can do it, good luck!

Actually this piece is pure ‘88 Honda. I assumed because of the 5 bolt wheels it was an accord.
