I’ve read that it’s been the weakest episode so far. The “train the villagers to fight bandits” story line has been done before. I get it’s a callback and everything but c’mon.

The end of Episode 3 felt an awful lot like the end of John Wick 2 , when every bounty hunter in the world was after Wick. Episode 4 started out with the villagers harvesting the blue shrimp, and I actually said, “When are the bad guys going to attack this idyllic scene?” It was High Plains Drifter and Magnificent Seven and every other Western like it. It did nothing to advance the story beyond more drama about taking off the damned helmet and introducing the chick bounty hunter. I hope it picks up. I enjoyed the first three episodes.

It’s only half way through the season so it’s still got time. I think Ming-na wen’s character is supposed to be introduced in a episode or two so that should be cool.

I’m kinda waiting till the season is over to maybe look into + and binge it over a week. We’ll see.

Not sure who that is, but I guess I’ll find out. I looked through the D+ catalog the other night and realized that there’s not much there that would have me keep it long-term. Would probably be better to sign in and out and go on benders watching SW or Marvel. Haven’t checked out Hulu yet, which is part of the deal.

This is actually a pretty accurate representation of the show. I can’t take it seriously. The Mandilorian dude is terrible at his job, he fails at just about everything he does. The baby yoda is cute, but honestly gonna get boring. I mean he’s not going to get older in the span of the show.

I watched the first 4 episodes in one sitting so maybe that was part of the problem
