For me, probably the number one coolest thing about older performance cars, race cars, and planes is aerodynamic design choices. I love the unique solutions that people came up with that has to do with air flow. I don’t know if the arches on this car were primarily functional or for looks but either way it conveys “ intent” in design, something many modern car manufacturers I believe have lost.
