It’s not easy. Space is limited. But it can be done. And it’s nice to flex on the guys who have lifted this and truck that.

Why is your tent so close to the road? I’d have mine as far away and behind my car as well as a tree if possible.
I’m gonna have nightmares tonight just thinking about a car coming in at night and not making the turn. I know you’re supposed to drive slow in campgrounds, but I’ve seen (likely) drunk bro-dozers speed around way too many times to leave my tent anywhere near the road.
Anyway, I love camping with the Boxster for the same reason. People are amazed at how much crap I pull out of both trunks.

I gotta wonder if an MR2 or a ADV bike would allow you to bring more gear (if you didn’t use the passenger seat)

Surely MR2! The firewood in particular was large and heavy. Good luck fitting that on your ADV!

Is camp site! It’s a short loop off the main road that provides access to the camp sites. It does mean you’ve got cars slowly rolling past your site every so often, but it also means you can park super close if you like.
