3 year loan
Must...resist...temptation.

I think I’ve paid all of my cars off early when the balance got down to $1,000 or less.

That is the first temptation and I have successfully resisted it.

Pay it off early and then bask in the glow of no car payment. Thats a really nice feeling and reduces the temptation greatly .

Ironically that’s the least valuable time to do it :)
But I feel it. 4 payments left on the Odyssey and I’ve already been shopping (for me, not to replace the van) for the past 6 months.

Ooh same, I can almost see the day I’m done paying off the loan on my Mazda . Then I can go whole hog on my 240 resto.

I can’t wait until my Camry is paid off. I still owe I think around $3,700.

It lasts for about 6 months. Been there. Might be able to hold off until Dec 2020 max but if the right car comes along I am going for it.

Waiting for the last couple of thousand $s to get paid off is the worst

I need to buy a car next year, kinda looking forward to it. I just can’t figure out what I want. One day it’s a 6 speed Civic Sport, the next it’s a Toyota Avalon, then a Ford Ranger. I’m all over the place.

That is...quite the spectrum. I can only comment on Toyota Avalon. If you want to go landbarge try a Hyundai Genesis/Equus /K900 or even the Buick Lacrosse.

I’m really poor so it’s going to take a few more years :( Hopefully when I graduate I’ll get a decent job and be able to pay it off sooner.
