I haven’t played it, but they brought in a ton of excellent talent to build it, so I imagine there’s good stuff there. Unfortunately Schilling’s plan depended on their MMO becoming the next World of Warcraft (the single player game was a bit of stopgap to keep them funded as they went down that road). I thought that MS, maybe through one of their newly acquired studios had snagged the rights for this on the cheap?
It is absolutely worth the time invested in playing it. Astoundingly gorgeous game. Combat is also fun and the sword & sorcery fantasy story isn't half bad either.

I remember buying this for peanuts several years ago and actually liking it quite a bit. I think Dragon Age Inquisition came out when i was halfway through playing it and I pretty much just dropped it in favor of the newer game.
But I do remember it being good.
