This looks like trouble.

The biggest issue with tinsel trees is they weight absolutely nothing. I’m trying to decide if I need to tie these to the wall somehow.

You have a cat, do whatever you can to stabilize it.

Don't tie cats to the wall.

I built a 3' x 3' wooden X and screwed our tree base to that. He hasn't done it in a while, but Hammer has climbed inside the tree many times.

That’s actually a good idea.

Now can you design a way to keep them out of the LEGO Christmas village? Someone knocked the fire station off the table last year and I still haven’t found all the damage. I’m thinking some sort of motion sensing alarm, haha.

Is this still a thing?

You actually just gave me a neat idea. My upstairs is a half story and my “sitting room” (or whatever you want to call it, I have a small room with a couch and the tv ) is just 8x12 feet.  I should just cover the narrow ceiling peak in garland and put lights and ornaments up there, completely out of reach.
