I know it well, my dad did it to a small degree to my mum.

Some colleagues have gone through the same thing, it’s not just the wives but the husbands to who cop the end of it. One lass forger her husband’s signature to sell the house they were living him to a rental company. He thought he was paying off the mortgage, not knowing he was essentially paying rent.

The way I see it, I’m going to be drinking beer while cooking either way, another portion or two isn’t much trouble (unless the plan was not to cook in the first place).

Either way, it’s a nice gesture, even if it’s your wife that told you to do so (sounds like you have a thoughtful wife, too).

anyhoo me and the kid dont get along too well... i have a firey temper and hes a handfull

Some on the spectrum are like that because they get attention. Many in my sister’s classes when she was at school were like it. I couldn’t handle visiting my sister’s school, which unfortunately I had to when they had teacher parent evenings and I had to sit with my sister while my parents talked to the teacher.

lol... he didnt get it from me... he was like that when i got here... his mum actually thinks im a good influence on him coz he doesnt like getting it back...

anyhoo... this last year hes been a lot calmer...they finally put him on some medication

oh bollocks... i forgot to say hes hyperactive on top of on the scale.... they wouldnt medicate him before... for reasons i cant comprehend

They were awful. Of course it didn’t take much to set my sister, Kerry, off. Just calling her ‘Kerry werry’ would set her off into tears and storming about. Now make that a class of 20 kids, all with different requirements . Not fun.
