I like this. A lot. I always like finding a bargain (hello, colorful cars from OLO) , but you can’t have used cars if you don’t have new cars.
I’m worried the quilted tan doesn’t come with the orange exterior, but I’ll have to see farther down the road. The bright blue is a pretty color, too. This would definitely be cheaper than some of the other cars I’ve looked at.

I don’t have a CVT right now. I drove the old Rogue (RIP) and my mom’s CR-V some, but that’s it. I’m not one of those people that notices gear shifts and all.

Ok that actually looks really good.... Nissan definitely deserves the credit.

I like the color palette and small exterior size of the Versa, but the nicer interior and breadth of features in the Altima. The new Sentra combines both of those.
Knock on wood, but a 2013-2015 Sentra SR in blue is one of my top choices for “emergency crisis car.”

I am with you. I am going to keep my eye out for these when they hit the used car market. I think Nissan got this right. Also I am a sucker for orange cars.

The new Altima is impressively not horrible.
For a looooong tome I’ve hated the Altima it’s always been bland and in my opinion ugly. But this now one, if I had use for a mid sized Fwd sedan I’d consider it. Thankfully I have no use for a FWD midsized sedan.

Yeah I’m not gonna lie, those 2013-2015 Sentra SR’s don’t look bad at all! If it weren’t for the cvt, I’d consider one!
I’ve just heard wayyyy too many horror stories from my personal mechanic about Nissan CVT’s.

2013’s, definitely. A lot of people with newer Rogues haven’t had problems, but the models that came out in 2013 (like the Altima and Pathfinder) had lots of problems.

Hitting the depreciation on these would be nice, but I’ve noticed it’s very hard to find the cars in the special colors farther down the road. There are lots of older Altimas for sale, for instance, but very few are in that light green color.
Also, used means finding something that cost a lot new that hit the depreciation curve (that also comes in nice colors).

Kinda depends on how Nissan wants to market it. I don’t even remember the last time I saw a commercial for a Sentra... let alone a “Sporty themed” one. Also I will drive or fly somewhere if it’s the right color and price.

This Sentra had been out since 2013. When there’s a new Altima, a well-selling Rogue, and other vehicles, the Sentra got put behind.

Heh, funny. Goes to show how much I pay attention to Nissan these days...even though I technically drive one.
