Strongly agree. Especially with brands that are supposed to be upscale. Looking at you, Volvo

I think it looks good. Not on the cars you pictured, but I think those are just ugly cars.

I didn’t realize this was a new vehicle.
I think I’m done being a car guy.

Being a car guy doesn’t mean you have to care about every car.

Care, no, know what it is to warn people, yes.

So where is this trailblazer made?
Is it suppose to be a Trax replacement?
![]() 11/20/2019 at 22:10 |

Trax is to Encore, as Trailblazer ACTIV is to Encore GX. It makes sense.

I am livid. Beyond livid.
I have a TrailBlazer. A real TrailBlazer. The TrailBlazer EXT my dad bought for his birthday from Jim Lupient’s Harold Chevrolet of Burnsville Minnesota in May of 2003. It has the optional 5.3 V8. It’s body on frame. It’s 4x4. And it’s from the time when GM could accidentally build an indestructible vehicle. It just ticked over 231,000 miles while the Mercedes was in the shop for brake work. It was on its original shocks and struts until 220,000 miles. I just put a starter in it 2,000 miles ago. It’s needed one exhaust manifold gasket replaced. And from 4 0-10 0,000 miles we put 4 water pumps in it on GM’s dime through their “Mr. Goodwrench” parts guarantee...and that’s about it. Maybe spark plugs once, fluid flushes for the trans and diffs. Its finally started to rust out and look gross after now being in the south for 4 years.
And they besmirch that reputation with 3 cylinder engines...

here’s a better Trailblazer (maybe)
