Went to recover a couple of burnt up Sprinters, found these.
Mint Toyota Celica TS, thats european for 2ZZ-GE, manual and everything and for sale. Likely way outside my price bracket though. Still delicious.
Also mint legit RHD Vauxhall Astra in BRG, lowered and with a Union Jack roof. 1.6L non-Ecotec P O W E R. Why and how this thing ended up a thousand kilometers outside of left side traffic countries is beyond me.
The fact that these two were the most interesting cars on quite a sizeable used car dealership lot is a perfect illustration on how bland german car buyers are.

I have enjoyed every 2ZZ powered car i’ve ever been in. Those Celicas get a lot of crap, but they’re ridiculously light by modern car standards.

From what I’ve heard most of the criticism was about the design. The T22 were pretty good drivers cars for an FWD sports coupe.
